To silence it you must solve sums or get up and scan a code you left far from the bed — and reloading the page does not stop it.

What is the code-scanning mode?
You print a code and leave it in the bathroom or the kitchen: the alarm only shuts up when you stand up and scan it.
Does it work if I close the browser?
No — it rings while the tab exists. It is an honest limitation: this is a web page, not an installed app.
