Are my documents uploaded anywhere?
No. The page is straightened, cleaned and read inside your browser, so your photos never leave your device. That's why you can scan an ID or a contract with peace of mind.
Does it add a watermark or limit the pages?
No. No watermark, no page limit and no sign-up. The PDF is yours just as it comes out.
What does “text you can search” mean?
The PDF carries the text read from each page, invisible under the image: you can find it with Ctrl+F and copy it. Handwriting is read poorly; the page still looks perfect, only that text won't be searchable.
Does it work on a computer?
Yes: upload photos you already have and you get the same straight, clean PDF. The camera button is made for phones.
