What is this party game maker?
It’s a tool to design a party game for your own group and occasion. You choose the cards — truths, dares, most-likely-to votes, never-have-I-ever, trivia, charades, secret missions and impostor rounds — plus the players and the rules. Then you play it on one phone passed around, or on a laptop or TV. There are eight ready-made templates to start from.
How do you play with just one phone?
Press Play, add everyone’s names and start. The screen shows whose turn it is and a big, easy-to-read card; that person does the challenge or answers, and a tap moves the game on. When a card is secret — a mission, a word to act out or the impostor’s word — the game asks you to pass the phone to that person, who taps to see it and hides it before handing it back.
How do I share a game with my group?
Open the game, go to Share and copy the link, or send it straight from your phone. The whole game travels inside the link: whoever opens it sees a preview and saves it to their games with one tap. There’s a QR code too, so friends can scan it from the TV or your screen.
Is anything uploaded to a server?
No. Your games are saved only in this browser, and a shared game lives entirely inside the link, after the # sign — the part of an address that browsers never send to any server. There’s no account and nothing to install.
Any ideas for birthdays and family get-togethers?
Start from the Birthday template and mark the birthday person as the guest of honor: the cards will call them by name — memories, speeches, trivia about them and a secret mission to make them laugh. For family gatherings, the Family after-dinner template has gentle questions, charades and trivia for all ages. Then add the group’s inside jokes as new cards; that’s where the magic happens.
Can I play it on a TV?
Yes. Open the page on a laptop connected to the TV, or in a smart TV’s browser, press Play and switch to full screen. Cards, timer and scoreboard grow big enough to read from the sofa, and the scoreboard stays on screen. For secret cards, the player takes a quick look while everyone else closes their eyes — or use a phone for those rounds.
